It feels like it was a big hit 40 years ago, not so much these days, but that is what makes it kind of special. Family is coming to town so I went out and picked up the necessities.... beer. And as I recall, Coors was the beer of choice. I know, out of all the amazing options Portland has to offer and I buy Coors? It does have a cold activated can with a spill proof vent though. I don't know, I bet I can still spill beer all over me and assume the blue liner in the can which supposedly cools the can also causes cancer, but I could be totally wrong. Who cares, it has beer inside!

Tonight I went for a brisk (somewhat freezing) skate around town during what seemed to be rush hour. I feel very fortunate that, for the most part, I do not have to follow the herd and participate in the daily rush hour routine. I'm VERY thankful for that. Yeah, so now that I brought that up, I'm sure the next project will be a 9am to 5pm, 2 rush hour day all week long.... good job Dan.

Action, adventure.... romance?

Wow, this one goes way back! After school, my friends and I would film movie after movie with the huge VHS style camera, "Rising Fears" being our biggest production. I remember getting the name for the film scanning through magazines with them, picking one word at random, matching it with another. A little secret I'll let out, almost all films these days use this technique. Anyway, Rising Fears it was. After years of collecting dust, I remastered the VHS to dvd, recut and have copies on standby, ready to distribute to Focus Films or Paramount any day now. I'm sure they will get in a bidding war, all I have to do is sit back and ride the wave.

Some of you may know what this is all about, most will not, either way you share something in common and that is this - a semi feature film of toys acting out one of the most dramatic tales of our times will be hitting the interweb this summer and all you will get to watch and enjoy! Sure, I have to get through the hurdle of 110 more videos before that but why not get to work on the feature right after? My Dad recently sent a package all the way from Minnesota and in that package was a bag of Ham Been's Brand Cajun Beans. If you know my Dad, this would not seem awkward. Sometimes he'll walk around the house and throw stuff in a box then send it out my way. Sometimes things have been living at the house for some time. I was pleased to see the beans were not expired and it turned out to be a great gift as the beans turned out real fancy. Thanks Dad!

Hood. However, it didn't take too long before we joined the masses at the closest bar for beers and football. Best of both worlds.
