The Weather Man

VIDEO #334
Sounds from the last day of Feb 2011
The snow has left and the rain has come. By the looks of things, it's going to be around for a little while. So as your weather man, I would recommend an umbrella, a high dose of vitamin D and a bar of Irish Springs.

Mike's Daydream

VIDEO #322
Song - "Welcome Home" by Metallica performed by Rockabye Baby
This morning we had snow followed by sunshine, soon to come was rain and finally hail. A crazy day which made the cats a little confused, especially Mike the Cat. I tried to make this look as if Mike was having a little daydream of a nice summer's day during the rain, so picture that if it doesn't happen for ya. Off the subject, Happy Birthday Tana, let's go bowling!

Flashbacks

VIDEO #207
Song - "Candy Land" by CocoRosie and Douglas MacArthur's Farewell Speech
It's no more than a strange video, I have no idea if it makes sense... maybe it is simply "art!"

Expedition #2: River

VIDEO # 194
Song - "Flume" by Bon Iver
I headed back out to the Columbia River where I recently took the canoe to walk around the low flowing river. With 2 days of rain, the water level reached somewhere around 50 yards closer to shore from 2 weeks ago but the depth was inches allowing me to walk way out. Very cool time of the year to check it out.

My Umbrella

VIDEO #171
Song - "Umbrella" by Rihanna
The rain season is underway and what better way to start it off than a little stroll around the neighborhood with your favorite umbrella? I was obviously having a ton of fun and to my surprise, once again, Katana caught me in all my skipping and jumping glory. Embarrassed? Naaaaaa!

Rain, Rain Go Away

VIDEO #067
Song - "Something in the Way" by Rockabye Baby! (Nirvana Cover)
The weather has been pretty miserable out here in Portland but it makes for a great time inside, settling down, getting cozy and relaxing. That is until lightning strikes on your street and thunder rattles your house. If you listen carefully you can hear Katana screaming in the background. She's ok.

Sunrise Storm

VIDEO #003
Song - "Way Up" by Gustavo Santaolalla
Time lapse series of storm clouds breaking to blue skies. I've become a little obsessed with clouds recently and now in April, it's time to shoot those big guys. Other than Gustavo''s reversed track, all the sound was recorded in my back yard.
