Portland Meadows is an old school race track you shouldn't miss out on if you end up in Portland for a handful of days. It feels like it was a big hit 40 years ago, not so much these days, but that is what makes it kind of special. A blast from the past with people screaming for their horse to come in and make them a couple bucks. That's good entertainment in itself!

Down in Cabo, Mexico, there were some serious shore break waves which, when out, really hard to get back in. On this day it wasn't too bad so the Zap skimboarders took advantage of it. I talked to one of the guys and he was super cool so I thought I'd give a shout out. Pretty amazing how the sport is evolving into a more technical, extreme style sport. Here's the website: ZAP
