Super 8

VIDEO #325

Song - "Hotel" by Cassidy featuring R. Kelly

Sometimes it's fun to stay in an all America style hotel off the main drag kind of hotel/motel like the Super 8. All the fanciest amenities one could ask for and then some. So, when heading to Long Beach Washington, don't shy away from this destination. It's well worth every hard earned American dollar... and the chicks dig guys who stay here.

Moon Quest

Song - "The Proposition #2" by Nick Cave & Warren Ellis accompanied by Buzz Aldrin's reencounter of an alien spacecraft during the Apollo 11 mission

Tonight is a full moon so make sure, if the sky clears, to lift your head up and take a look. These video clips are from last night... a sneak peek if you will, and of course in strange, alien fashion.

Mike's Daydream

VIDEO #322

Song - "Welcome Home" by Metallica performed by Rockabye Baby

This morning we had snow followed by sunshine, soon to come was rain and finally hail. A crazy day which made the cats a little confused, especially Mike the Cat. I tried to make this look as if Mike was having a little daydream of a nice summer's day during the rain, so picture that if it doesn't happen for ya. Off the subject, Happy Birthday Tana, let's go bowling!

Light My Fire

VIDEO #321

Song - "Basket Case" by Green Day covered by Rockabye Baby

Cold, rainy weather calls for a cozy night at home. We sure were happy to have upgraded to the instamatic mood setting house mode when we moved in. Now, the house just does what we ask it to. Make me a fire.... done! Clean the cat box..... done! Blow delicious clean air from your vents... no problem. It's totally worth the extra couple bucks a month.

Happy Valentine's Day

VIDEO #320

A Valentine's Day Song

Today is a holiday which some believe was made up by Hallmark to get people out shopping and it makes these people feel a little bah humbug to celebrate. I think that today simply helps remind us all to think about all the people we have in our lives and how great it feels to spread a little love around. So, with that... thank you to all the people who are in my life. You've made me the person I am... and Katana, I love you so very much.

House Arrest

VIDEO #319

Music by Jim Walker

I can see the movie slogan - "Jaws made people too scared to enter the water... this will make you never want to deliver a pizza again!" I stumbled across this great footage shot back in December, 2004. Who knows what Corey and I were thinking back then, but when I looked at the footage today, I thought, man... this would make an awesome little short. Corey debuting in an all-star performance and the all talented Jim Walker setting the atmosphere... shoot, all I had to do is put the clips together and witness the magic. Great to see old footage resurface and laugh out loud... even if it's watching yourself getting strangled to death. Thanks Corey and Jim!

The Big Slot

VIDEO #318

Song - "Ghost Riders In The Sky" performed by the Unknown Guitar Slinger and Estaban

I really wanted to share the video of this Unknown Guitarist from Vegas. His smile is priceless. Who cares if he misses a couple notes here and there... the smile makes up for it. Oh, and we did not beat Vegas on this trip. She got the best of us.
