Out in Cabo San Lucas, joining the tourists for a cruise around the Arch. We thought we were getting on a relaxing romantic sunset dinner cruise, and in all fairness, it was but what we learned was that after you get to the arch, it's about 45 minutes hanging out in the bay partying down to bad pop music so loud you can't think, tequila shots and male stripping dance-offs. And the thing was, all the boats did this. It was like a competition to see which boat could party harder. Maybe on spring break this works but when you have Montezuma's Revenge and you're on a boat with elderly couples, families and babies crying, it doesn't really make sense to force the concept. Cabo needs to chill.

To celebrate the 5th day of sunshine this year, I started cleaning up the backyard. I noticed the pool water was a little funky and BAM!..a blog idea came to me... so I grabbed some little guys and started playing with toys again. The weird thing about this video is that by the end of watching it, I want to go camping. I'm not sure if it was the barbecuing or the neon cocktails that did it for me? Anywho, happy sunny monday to you all.

The kiddy pool was a big hit last weekend. We played "drink as many bottles of white wine as you can before the sun goes down." We all won and celebrated by the fire, making smores and drinking more wine. It's a rough life, you know? And getting older is rough! I remember it being much easier as a kid.... the kiddy pool seemed much bigger.

Paying homage to one of my favorite places growing up and to this day, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area back home in Minnesota. Never a bad time with a good group of friends, your boat, rod and reel and some bourbon. It's full of wildlife with an abundance of lakes for great fishing and swimming. Most importantly, it's that you're away from everything and the further you get out, the better it gets.
