Random Sounds from the Unknown
A very special delivery came to the door and I am thrilled to show you all what is in the box through this short video presentation. The excitement really comes not by opening the box, but what is inside the object in the box... so think inside the box for a moment.... ok now continue thinking outside the box.

Gringo Y Amigos

VIDEO #185

Song - "Guadalajara" by Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan

Gringo and his amigos visited the Columbia River Gorge in style. I could see these guys featured in a movie that goes worldwide someday. If that day never comes, at least we will have this here video to enjoy until the lights go out. Ole!

A Day on the Columbia

VIDEO #183
Song - "Hip Hop No Pares" by Mexican Institute of Sound
Here it is! The video that peaks the hill and brings it on home to the 365 videos. It's smooth sailing from here on out!

Part two of the epic paddle in the Columbia River Gorge was by far, the best day of Fall. This might have to happen again before the weather turns gray. Good times, though, good times!

Gringo Gets Pampered

VIDEO #125
Mexican Collection of Sound
Gringo gets his first pedicure and seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed it. Not many Gringos out there can say they've been pampered this good before, and for that, I am sure Gringo feels lucky. Of course, he will now and forever be remembered as the girly Gringo, but Gringo told me "es bueno."

Showering with Gringo

VIDEO #106
Song - "Cielito Lindo" by Silvestre Vargas
Gringo was hot today and felt like cooling the summer's heat with a cool spray from the garden hose. Effective and a good way to multitask if watering the yard is required in your every other daily life routine.

A Trip to the Arch

VIDEO #084
Song - "Stir it Up" by Rockabye Baby! (Bob Marley Cover)
Out in Cabo San Lucas, joining the tourists for a cruise around the Arch. We thought we were getting on a relaxing romantic sunset dinner cruise, and in all fairness, it was but what we learned was that after you get to the arch, it's about 45 minutes hanging out in the bay partying down to bad pop music so loud you can't think, tequila shots and male stripping dance-offs. And the thing was, all the boats did this. It was like a competition to see which boat could party harder. Maybe on spring break this works but when you have Montezuma's Revenge and you're on a boat with elderly couples, families and babies crying, it doesn't really make sense to force the concept. Cabo needs to chill.

It's June first and summer is here... kinda! Time to get outside and plant your greens, or in Gringos case, hot reds!

Congratulations Marissa and Chad

VIDEO #059
Song - "A Eme O" by Andrea Echeverri
We had the privilege to photograph a beautiful wedding down in Cabo, Mexico with our new friends Marissa and Chad. I thought I'd put together a sneak peek before the photos get sent out. Why I chose the movie theater setting, no one knows but enjoy anyways!

A Swim With The Fish

VIDEO #056
Song - "The Funeral" by Band of Horses
Chileno Bay in Cabo is a great spot to see tons of fish. Free if you drive yourself, but beware, the security person in the lot only works off of tips... hum, which means if you don't tip him, no security? I don't know... Mexico is weird like that.

Cabo Skimboarding

VIDEO #055
Song - Crazy Train" remix by Twisted Sister
Down in Cabo, Mexico, there were some serious shore break waves which, when out, really hard to get back in. On this day it wasn't too bad so the Zap skimboarders took advantage of it. I talked to one of the guys and he was super cool so I thought I'd give a shout out. Pretty amazing how the sport is evolving into a more technical, extreme style sport. Here's the website: ZAP

Dirty Homies

VIDEO #027
Song - "Cielito Lindo" by Mariachi Silvestre Vargas
I don't think there's anything wrong with a grown man playing with toys in the privacy of his own backyard. It's when someone sees you... that's when it becomes, maybe not wrong, but very awkward. I got caught playing with toys.

Mowing with Gringo

VIDEO #006
Song - "La Culebra" by Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitán
Time lapse while mowing the yard. Super cheesy, something you might see in an old Sesame Street episode. The strange font I went with is called "Burrito." That's right... burrito.
