America's Got Talent?

VIDEO #363
A Jesperson Trio Original
People might be wondering what I'm going to be doing after the next couple of days with the video of the day blog being done and all. Well, here is your answer. I'm planning a tour with the Jesperson Trio (aka Jesperson Tripletts). The goal is simple... share the finest jazz recorder music in the world at all major venues across the globe. I'm sure there will be a snowball effect with an instant fan base so I will not be advertising past this video upload so, if you want to see The Trio perform live in your area, just follow the tickle in your ear. When your head explodes from aural bliss, you've found us.

House Arrest

VIDEO #319
Music by Jim Walker
I can see the movie slogan - "Jaws made people too scared to enter the water... this will make you never want to deliver a pizza again!" I stumbled across this great footage shot back in December, 2004. Who knows what Corey and I were thinking back then, but when I looked at the footage today, I thought, man... this would make an awesome little short. Corey debuting in an all-star performance and the all talented Jim Walker setting the atmosphere... shoot, all I had to do is put the clips together and witness the magic. Great to see old footage resurface and laugh out loud... even if it's watching yourself getting strangled to death. Thanks Corey and Jim!

The Big Slot

VIDEO #318
Song - "Ghost Riders In The Sky" performed by the Unknown Guitar Slinger and Estaban
I really wanted to share the video of this Unknown Guitarist from Vegas. His smile is priceless. Who cares if he misses a couple notes here and there... the smile makes up for it. Oh, and we did not beat Vegas on this trip. She got the best of us.

Dancing Barbies

VIDEO #316
Song - "You Can Call Me Al" by Paul Simon
These were the requests for a birthday video from a friend: "Something with your little toys and Keeley as a giant Japanese movie monster. And I better get a producer AND a writer credit for that one!" I know how much she loves Barbie photo shoots so I incorporated Barbies. The cat liked "Ken" too much so the monster part was a wash. Anywho, Happy Birthday Kim! Cheers ya later.

Kruger's Farm Market

VIDEO #202

Song - "Fisherman's Blues" by The Waterboys

A day out at Kruger's Farm Market on Sauvie Island is far from a dull moment. Head on out and get a pumpkin, maybe an ear of corn, carmel apple, hop on a pony, take the hay ride tour and meet Farmer Don and his wife. For more information, here is their website:

The Bonfire

VIDEO #201
Song - "9 Crimes" by Damien Rice
Out at Sauvie Island last week, tons of people headed out to get their pumpkins and grilled corn, listen to some tunes, ride a pony and get forever lost in the corn maze. For a night cap, piles upon piles of apple crates and wooden pallets were set aflame, lighting up the sky. I don't think anyone made it out of there alive?

Our First Tattoo

VIDEO #092
Song - "Freedom of Speech" by Above the Law
You know you're "hard" when you can pull off a spongebob tat on a thursday night, especially on the neck like a true gangsta. Hats off to Chadd, let the night be filled with netting jelly fish, krabby patties and good sandy pals keeping you smiling! I'll just be here in the bat cave keeping the blog real:)

The Shallow End

VIDEO #076
Song - "In My Place" by Rockabye Baby! (Coldplay Cover)
The kiddy pool was a big hit last weekend. We played "drink as many bottles of white wine as you can before the sun goes down." We all won and celebrated by the fire, making smores and drinking more wine. It's a rough life, you know? And getting older is rough! I remember it being much easier as a kid.... the kiddy pool seemed much bigger.

Fire Dancers

VIDEO #073

It is pretty amazing to see someone throwing around flaming batons, am I right? Well these guys are the best in the biz. All you need to do is head on over to Hawaii and go to Hanalei Bay. There you will find the magic dragon and these awesome fire dancer dudes. Makes for a nice little evening.

FM Radio

VIDEO #069
Various Radio Hits
Yesterday was a perfect day for a drive, listening to the radio and getting busy behind the steering wheel. The funniest thing about this video is, you'll have to try and picture this, the radio was off while I was driving. That's right, no music. Driving by businesses, schools, bus stops and pulling up next to someone with the windows down was quite the scene. As a disclaimer, please do not try this with your own vehicle, I have been professionally trained to drive under these awesome conditions.

Mr. Bentley Goes to the Market

VIDEO #063
Song - "Let's Go Crazy" by Prince
Bentley, my mom's Golden Retriever, sure has it made. Over Memorial Day weekend, we decided to hit the farmer's market to ultimately ...people watch. Well, after Bentley received his free carrot, he decided to take us to his favorite spot just off the beaten path. There, he showed us his swimming hole and displayed his techniques for capturing koi fish. He's so cute that he can get away with stuff like that. It's pretty amazing.

Sandy Memories

VIDEO #054
Song - "Winds of Change" by The Scorpions
An old classic video from the vault! This really turned out to be a happy accident with the hot sexy footage and the super power ballad from the 90's. I'm sure the Scorpions are trying to figure out how to get ahold of me so they can use this to replace their music video.... I'm sure of it!

What is there to say? It took fifty two videos to come up with something as brilliant as this. Get excited, maybe by 152 videos I'll digest the camera. Nummy Yummy!

Man Pampering

VIDEO #045

Song - "The Haircut Song" by Ray Stevens

Haircut + the champagne of beers = a pampered man. We all need to keep it trimmed, so why not enjoy the finer things in life in the process? Bishops on Alberta is quite nice this time of year, check it out, free beer, 21 bucks for a man cut, good people. Ask for Taylor, she's cool.

Putting in the Pool

VIDEO #038
Song - "Joy to the World" by Cathedral Brass
In the process of getting the stairs from the back deck to the yard in (which is still in progress), I uncovered a little bit of history of the house... the back patio! That's right, buried under the dirt lays an old, but classy array of concrete slabs! Not much to brag about other than the fact it's a free patio that brings fun for the whole family, and I think the video captures just that.

Bingo!

Video #034
Song - "Bingo" by Waka Flocka Flame
We finally did it! We checked out the Bingo hall in the hood, and let me tell you, not a dull moment to be had there. Maybe we were out of our league trying our hand against the locals but I figure after a dozen more outings to the hall, we might have the opportunity to shout that glorious two syllable word... BINGO!
