Frozen Falls

VIDEO #278
Song - "Cold Water" by Damien Rice
You may or may not remember the video I posted of me walking into the waterfall a couple months ago (Here is the Video)... well, I headed back to the Columbia River Gorge to visit a couple other falls including Multnomah and Horseshoe Falls. I don't think it was necessarily the cold, freezing water that kept me from taking a shower but the thought of getting impaled by a falling 15 foot icicle. I know, the video would have been much more epic seeing something like that. I need a stunt double.

Expedition #1: Waterfall

VIDEO #193
Song - "Woods" by Bon Iver
The Columbia River Gorge is home to many spectacular waterfalls and a rainy day usually means less people heading out to them. Sure, you'll get a bit wet, but that's where the fun happens. Plus.... it's a natural and free way to get a quick shower! No wonder my cell phone doesn't work anymore...

Jack Johnson in Concert

VIDEO #189
Song - "Inaudible Melodies" by Jack Johnson (recorded and live)
Usually, I am not a huge fan of the big-crowd concert but the Gorge is a good exception. Yeah, lots of people and lines for the bathroom that made you nervous in that you might not make it in time.... but as a whole, the night was excellent. G Love, Zee Avi and Jack Johnson put on a great show.

A Day on the Columbia

VIDEO #183
Song - "Hip Hop No Pares" by Mexican Institute of Sound
Here it is! The video that peaks the hill and brings it on home to the 365 videos. It's smooth sailing from here on out!

Part two of the epic paddle in the Columbia River Gorge was by far, the best day of Fall. This might have to happen again before the weather turns gray. Good times, though, good times!

Take A Hike

VIDEO #012
Song - "Drangkinbala" by Biekbala Mujik
Hiking up the Columbia Gorge on the Oregon side to Angel's Rest. Nice forest, not too much for waterfalls... mainly for the view overlooking The Gorge. Worth the steep hike.
