Some people wake up, enjoy a cup of coffee, walk their dog around the block then head out for work. Well, in my neighborhood it's a different walk of life. Coffee isn't strong enough, walking around the block just doesn't make sense and working is not an option. So, why not try to rip off your neighbor dress in the middle of the street, that's how these guys roll. To add, I was actually listening to this Marley song, it really is fitting for the scenario.

Hans Christmas was once the strongest man in the world. Now, he appears in local television commercials advertising for products that appear metaphorically stronger. Well, I had the privilege to watch Hans in action after the shoot. He was furious with the script as he should be. This guy is made of steel and here he is playing with a cheese loaf. Long story short, Hans still has it, he just needs to pay the rent.

Oh, and did I mention it's free? It's hard not to throw a nickel or dime in the antique novelty machines. A must see if in the town, you can't afford not to check it out!

A rain delay at the ball park allowed ample time to capture behind the scenes coverage of a video shoot with the Portland Beavers as they faced off against the Tacoma Rainiers. No one knows what the score was at the end but we do know that I caught two fly balls in the four innings we were there. Two! Ok so there were probably 37 people at the stadium total giving me better odds but still, ... two. With balls in hand, I soon realized these balls were not for me but for the little ones getting spoiled on a weekday, sitting in box seats high on sugar... these kids are the ones who needed the rush of the fly ball... so I gave my balls to them.

On Mother's Day we were taking off from the park when we noticed this couple going through some strange emotions together. We... well... I couldn't help but to pull out the camera and roll some tape. 6 1/2 minutes of surveillance not only caught some pushing and shoving but quite possibly a semi professional drug deal. The best part was we caught up with the guy down the road, who had just bushwhacked the steep hill for what reasons, we may never know. It'd be great to hear your take on what went down here, drop a comment!

In the process of getting the stairs from the back deck to the yard in (which is still in progress), I uncovered a little bit of history of the house... the back patio! That's right, buried under the dirt lays an old, but classy array of concrete slabs! Not much to brag about other than the fact it's a free patio that brings fun for the whole family, and I think the video captures just that.

My niece Sally and her 2nd Grade class sent out their Flat Stanley figures to friends and family last month and I was proud to be responsible to show the little guy around the Pacific Northwest.
