The Tale of Zadah Trailer

Two hundred videos! I thought it would be a great way to celebrate the moment by putting together a Walt Disney style movie trailer of a video my Dad filmed of us kids back in 1988 when we were little tikes. I remember having so much fun, running around all over Duluth, MN with my brother Matt and friends Nick and Morgan. The filmed runs 30 minutes in length, all edited in camera over the period of just one day. The premise is kind of a Goonies meets Stand By Me theme where we find a map and set out to find it. It's safe to say this influenced me in what I'm doing today, and no, I'm not a treasure hunter. Great thanks to my Dad for lugging us kids around, filming the movie that would become the first of many in my time. Thanks Pops!

We headed out to check out what's new at Costco today and it was well worth it! Tons of battery powered Barbie sets lined the shelves and are ready to be taken home to enjoy. My favorite was the potty training Barbie set. It was quite elaborate and looked like tons of fun however, I felt my toy collection is getting pretty huge and made the decision to hold off for now. It really would have rounded out my collection nicely though.

It's a family tradition to measure up to the relatives and see where you stand at my grandma's house in Minneapolis. I think the earliest measurement I saw was from 1964 and just the other day we marked the little ones for their first time.

My niece Sally and her 2nd Grade class sent out their Flat Stanley figures to friends and family last month and I was proud to be responsible to show the little guy around the Pacific Northwest. Oh, we had so much fun! I think Mr. Stanley had a pretty good time too. We will miss you good buddy! You're always welcome back to the West Coast!
